About Us — The Wed Consultant
The Wed Consultant was founded on a single, non-negotiable conviction: that a wedding should feel like the truest expression of the people at its centre, not a package, not a trend, not a Pinterest board rendered in florals.
We are a boutique studio by design. We work with a deliberately limited number of clients each year, because genuine luxury is, by definition, not scalable. Every wedding we accept becomes our singular focus, an exercise in restraint, refinement, and obsessive attention to detail.
At The Wed Consultant, we act as both creative directors and logistical authorities, the single point of trust between your vision and its flawless execution. From the first conversation to the final farewell, we hold every element to a standard most will never consciously notice, but you and your guests will feel at every moment.

Co-Founder · Entrepreneur & Cinematographer
An entrepreneur and cinematographer by instinct and experience, Puru left the conventional path of engineering early to build what most would consider improbable. As the founder of Summer House and a seasoned wedding photographer, he has spent over a decade behind the lens — studying human emotion, fleeting moments, and the anatomy of celebration.
His understanding of weddings is not theoretical — it is lived, observed across cultures, geographies, and hundreds of ceremonies. As a planner, he brings an unusually sharp eye for timing, composition, and flow, ensuring that every wedding is not only experienced beautifully, but remembered cinematically.
Aarshi Ray
Co-Founder · Creative Director & Author
A lawyer by education, and a creative director and author by experience, Aarshi approaches weddings through the lens of narrative, detail, and cultural nuance. Her work is defined by an acute sensitivity to aesthetics, an instinct for refinement, and an ability to translate emotion into atmosphere.
Whether it is the fall of fabric, the cadence of a ceremony, or the way a space unfolds for a guest — her eye ensures that every detail feels intentional, elevated, and deeply personal.
